Buying on the other side of the Andes, or just thinking in pesos instead of dollars, shouldn't mean reaching for a calculator every time you look at a listing. FrontierFound lets you choose which currency prices display in β US dollar, Argentine peso, or Chilean peso β and the conversion applies automatically across the whole site.
The currency switcher sits in the header, next to the language switcher. It shows the active currency's symbol β US$, AR$, or CL$ β and opening it shows all three options with their full name. Pick one and it's remembered in your browser, so you don't have to choose it again on your next visit.
Every price you see in listings, search results, and price history gets recalculated into your chosen currency, rounded to a clean number instead of showing you odd decimals.
The conversion is an approximate reference, not a real-time quote. The original price the agent entered β in whatever currency the listing was published in β remains the source of truth.
This matters: changing your display currency doesn't change anything in the database or in what an agent, or a buyer using a different currency, actually sees. It's a display layer to help you read the price faster, not an edit to the underlying data.
We picked US dollar, Argentine peso, and Chilean peso because those are the three currencies that actually matter in this market β they're what agents list in, and what most buyers across Argentine and Chilean Patagonia think in. If we expand into more markets down the line, the currency list will grow with them.
If you're an agent, you keep entering the price in whatever currency fits your listing β usually dollars for sales, sometimes local currency for rentals. The currency switcher lives entirely on the buyer's side; there's nothing different for you to do.
